Understanding credits

What are credits?

Credits are Spinini's currency for AI features. Every time you use Spinini AI (agent or chat), credits are consumed based on the length and complexity of the task.

Credit allocation

Credits reset automatically on the 1st of every month. Unused credits do not roll over.

How credits are consumed

Each Spinini AI request uses credits based on the total tokens processed (input + output). A typical small task might use 2–5 credits; a complex multi-file feature could use 20–50 credits.

After every agent run, the number of credits consumed is shown in the session summary at the bottom of the Spinini AI panel.

Checking your balance

Your current credit balance appears in:

•The Billing page of your account settings

•The top of the Spinini AI panel (hover the balance chip)

What happens at 0 credits

When your balance reaches 0:

•Spinini AI (agent and chat) is paused

•Your running containers, published apps, and code files are not affected

•You'll receive an email notification with instructions

You can either wait for the monthly reset or top up immediately.

Topping up

Go to Billing → Buy Credits to purchase additional credits. Top-ups are one-time purchases and never expire.

Tip: Enable credit warnings in Settings → Notifications to get an email when your balance drops below a threshold you set.
